Greg Zimmerman joined the Carmel Police Department on September 11^th, 2017. Since he was sworn in, he graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy with honors, he is a coordinator for both the Carmel Police Cadet Program and the Carmel Police Youth Academy. Greg has served his community as a School Resource Officer since 2020. Currently, he is the Treasurer and Sponsor Coordinator for the Indiana School Resource Officers Association (INSROA).  He has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). While at IUPUI, he served as the President of Phi Gamma Delta, the Vice President of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (N.A.S.A. club), and the Activities Coordinator for The Communications Club. Greg got married on August 29^th, 2020 and has a Goldendoodle named Leo.  He has three sisters and one brother. His favorite hobbies are boating, hiking, and eating double stuf’d Oreos (yes, there’s only one “f” in “stuf”)!
